Building eKhaya eKasi: It's coming together

With the roof up, exterior work moves forward...

...as does interior work. A view of the community room from the container.

The container rooftop is being prepared to house the edible training garden...

...and features some spectacular mountain views.

Makatiso Ngaka (the original beader of Monkeybiz Project) surveys progress.

With doors installed and plastering complete, finish work is all that lies ahead.

Building eKhaya eKasi: Shelter from the Storm

The roof (metal and light-filtering plastic) is up, allowing interior work to proceed despite the winter storms of the Cape.

A side view of clear paneling.

Plastering and frame installation is underway.

Finishing the second floor walkway that leads to the B&B's bedrooms.

Installing a little something to keep us warm in the winter and cool in the summer...

...and fixtures for the most important rooms in the building!
